Lexes $NAME as TK_ENVVAR, compiles reads as __getenv("NAME") calls
and writes ($NAME = expr) as __setenv("NAME", expr) calls. Runtime
functions wrap getenv/setenv/unsetenv with automatic tostring coercion.
